Have you been praying for SMASH?

One of the things that has made SMASH most successful over the years has been the effective prayer of the people who understand the benefit of SMASH. Have you been praying? If not, please do!

The 10th Annual Cape Cod SMASH is coming!!

Ten years ago, we did not know how many would come, how many years we would be doing this, how we were going to do it, or even if we should, but we prayed, watched God open the doors, and have seen many young people come to Christ, grow in Christ, serve Christ and His people, and even turn around and reach out to the generation coming up behind them. It has been a blessing to be part of SMASH on Cape Cod. We have seen churches come together, youth groups come together, and Jesus Christ glorified in all of it because we really have had to count on Him every step of the way. From the opening night SMASHing of fruit and the ice cream social to leaving the things that were binding us at the cross in front of the bonfire, we have seen the most amazing miracle there is: young people giving their lives to Christ and watching them walk in Him, grow in Him, and reach out and touch the world for Him! As we go from banner to banner for each year, we remember the young people who have participated in SMASH, thinking of them and realizing that it has been worth every cold night in the rain, every stubbed toe, burned finger, splinter, bruise, and sleepless night. Personally, it has been the most fulfilling ministry that I have been involved in. If you have not been to SMASH, set the time aside this year to go. If you have been to SMASH, bring a friend or two. It is worth it!
